Hi Loma - Kathy here. From reading some of the other blogs, be assured you are not alone in experiencing these "fears". I hesitate contributing to the discussion board/blogs almost on a daily basis because of a deep-rooted (and probably unjustified) fear of embarrassment and inadequacy. In fact, anything I do write (including this reply) is prepared in draft with pen and paper before submission - how lame is that! It only goes to strengthen your observations that a real anxiety towards online learning exists with some learners. Maybe it's an age thing? (although I suspect you are considerably younger than me). Maybe it's more of a psychological hang up to do with exposure, as you say? Anyway, I look forward to catching up with your research!
